GEORGE MOUNT / STRINGFEST ANALYTICS
Fractional Copilot consulting for Excel-heavy teams
Build on the Excel skills and reporting workflows your team already relies on.
Work directly with George Mount, a Microsoft Excel MVP, O’Reilly author, and LinkedIn Learning instructor. I bring my background in Excel, Power Query, Power Pivot, and Python in Excel to help finance and operations teams apply Microsoft 365 Copilot to real reporting and analysis, with clear human review.
Two ways to start: a paid four-week workflow pilot, or one or two days per week over an initial three-month engagement. We agree the audience, priorities, capacity, and fees before work begins.
When ongoing support makes sense
You have Copilot or other approved AI tools, but people need help applying them to real work. Or you have a growing training program and need someone to keep delivery, materials, and follow-through moving.
A fractional engagement gives you a regular specialist contribution alongside an internal sponsor or coordinator. We shape the work around your team’s tools, starting point, and priorities.
What we can work on
Role-specific learning
Hands-on sessions built around finance, reporting, analysis, and everyday business tasks. We work with the software and access your team actually has.
Workflow coaching
Help people practice with selected use cases, assess AI-generated work, and document useful approaches and human review steps.
Office hours and champions
Scheduled follow-through for participants and internal champions as they apply what they have learned and encounter new questions.
Materials and progress reviews
Reusable guides, exercises, and curriculum updates, plus a brief review of adoption, barriers, and next priorities with your sponsor.
Start with a four-week Copilot workflow pilot
Start with a paid four-week pilot focused on two recurring tasks, such as preparing a reporting narrative or turning reviewed analysis into a stakeholder update. We agree the scope, access requirements, and fees before work begins.
Week 1 — Assess and choose. Review the current process, select two workflows with clear owners, and define what improvement would look like.
Week 2 — Build and test. Test Copilot with representative work, document useful approaches, and establish where people must check the results.
Week 3 — Put it into practice. Guide the people doing the work, gather feedback, and refine the process.
Week 4 — Evaluate and hand over. Compare results with the starting point and recommend what to keep, change, or pursue next.
You leave with two documented workflows, practical guidance for users, and an assessment of the benefits and limitations we observed. If a use case does not earn its place, that finding informs the recommendation.
Discuss a four-week Copilot pilot. Tell me about one recurring task your team wants to improve.
After the pilot, we can move into a defined three-month engagement with monthly priorities and progress reviews. I maintain the agreed list of opportunities, coach selected workflows, hold office hours, and review progress with your internal sponsor.
A practical first three months of ongoing support
1. Focus. Choose an initial team and two or three priority workflows. Review available tools, existing guidance, and what useful progress would look like.
2. Deliver and practice. Combine focused learning sessions with supported practice, reusable materials, and scheduled office hours.
3. Review and decide. Look at participation, use of the selected workflows, confidence, work quality, and unresolved barriers. Agree whether to continue, expand, or hand off.
A defined scope and regular capacity
Delivery, preparation, curriculum development, meetings, and agreed follow-through all count toward the reserved capacity. The scope sets priorities, availability, response expectations, and how we handle additional requests.
Your internal team remains responsible for tool administration, permissions, security decisions, and day-to-day ownership. I collaborate with those owners so learning fits the tools and policies you have in place.
Fees are quoted for the agreed scope. We can begin with a defined three-month engagement and review the arrangement before extending it.
For training providers and consultancies
Reserve recurring capacity for instructor-led delivery, curriculum development, and participant follow-through within your client programs. I can work with your program team on content updates and delivery continuity as demand develops.
We agree preparation time, scheduling, materials rights, and reporting as part of the scope. For individual faculty assignments, see external faculty and contract training.

Let’s discuss your team
Tell me who needs support, which tools they use, where adoption is getting stuck, and the timing you have in mind. We can work out a practical scope together.
