About George Mount
George Mount is a corporate trainer and Excel expert who helps finance, accounting, and operations teams work smarter with data. He specializes in the Modern Excel AI Stack, including Python in Excel, Copilot, Power Query, and Power Pivot, and teaches professionals how to turn complex data into clear, actionable insights.
George is the founder and sole member of Stringfest Analytics, an independent training and consulting practice based in Cleveland, Ohio. Stringfest is not a large agency or training company. When you work with Stringfest, you work directly with George.
As a LinkedIn Learning instructor with more than 475,000 learners worldwide, George regularly presents at industry events including the Global Excel Summit. He is the author of Advancing into Analytics (O’Reilly, 2021) and Modern Data Analytics in Excel (O’Reilly, 2024).
George is recognized as a Microsoft Most Valuable Professional (MVP) for his contributions to the Excel and analytics community. He holds degrees in economics, finance, and information systems.

Stringfest Analytics is George Mount’s independent training and consulting practice. Through Stringfest, George provides corporate training, curriculum development, and consulting for organizations looking to strengthen their analytics capabilities in Excel.
Stringfest is intentionally small and hands-on. There is no large bench of instructors or account team behind the scenes. Clients work directly with George on the design, delivery, and follow-through.
