Built for people who work with data
This training is for teams that already use Excel and want to apply Copilot thoughtfully to analysis, reporting, and documentation. Participants should be comfortable with basic formulas and tables; introductory sessions do not require coding experience.
The focus is Excel and analyst workflows. During scoping, we’ll confirm which Copilot tools your team can access and whether the requested work fits the program.
What your team will practice
Prepare the workbook. Organize tables, clarify column meanings, and identify missing or inconsistent data before asking AI to help.
Ask a useful question. Give Copilot the task, context, constraints, and desired output; refine the request when the first answer misses the mark.
Work through the analysis. Practice explaining and drafting formulas, exploring a dataset, and communicating findings using the features available to your team.
Check before sharing. Compare suggestions with source data and established Excel methods, investigate unsupported conclusions, and document the human review.
Choose the depth that fits
Focused workshop: A practical introduction around a defined workflow, with demonstrations and guided exercises.
Full training day: More time to prepare a workbook, develop prompts, work through analysis scenarios, and review the results together.
Multi-session program: Sequenced practice for teams developing shared working habits. Copilot can sit alongside Power Query, Python in Excel, and reporting automation where relevant. Explore broader team programs.
Delivery is available live online or onsite by arrangement. We agree on the agenda, duration, group size, materials, and fee before booking.
A sample learning sequence
Start with the task: Choose a familiar analysis question and establish what a reliable answer should look like.
Build and refine: Prepare the data, use Copilot to support the work, and compare different approaches.
Review and repeat: Check the calculations and interpretation, document the process, and identify which steps belong in a repeatable Excel workflow.

Before we book
Software access: We’ll confirm the Copilot experience, Excel version, and organizational settings participants have available. The agenda will reflect that environment.
Practice data: Exercises can use sample data. If you want to work with your own examples, we’ll agree on suitable data and handling arrangements in advance.
Learning goals: Bring a reporting or analysis task your team wants to improve. We’ll use it to scope the session and the skills participants will practice.
Plan your team’s Copilot training
Share your approximate group size, current Excel workflows, Copilot access, preferred timing, and whether you’re considering virtual or onsite delivery. If you’re still seeking internal approval, say so—we can start by clarifying the scope.
