I use Bulk Buffer to re-distribute old blog posts and other content via scheduled posts at Buffer. Bulk Buffer allows you to export a CSV file for upload to Buffer, a social media management program. (Speaking of which, check out my social channels at LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter!)
I am on the free version of Buffer, which allows me ten posts in queue at a time.
This video demonstrates how I use Excel to manage and automate the process.
Using a table of various links I wish to post to social media, I have programmed Excel using VBA to give me ten links at random, pasted into a CSV file named after today’s date.
Special hat tip to Jon Acampora, whose VBA Pro course I have been working through the past few weeks. I know the bare minimum of VBA, which probably shows in my exercise file code! But I probably would not have been able to do this program at all without Jon’s course — amazing the improvements I am seeing already!
Jon runs some excellent, free webinars on getting started with VBA, some of which are coming late January. Learn more and sign up — it’s free!
