I’ll be giving a ~15 minute presentation at 11am Eastern to the free, online satRday Columbus conference Saturday, October 2nd. The topic will be “R-driven Power BI.”
Register for the event now:
Presentation description:
Microsoft has developed an impressive stack of BI tools, including Power BI for dashboards and reporting. But sometimes you just need a statistical programming language to really get the job done. In this presentation, we’ll look at how to integrate these products, where R can come in handy, and demonstrate a couple of use cases along the way.
You can view the companion repo for this presentation here (Resources under construction.). A recording will also be made available.
You may remember that I presented to this conference last year on “R-Powered Excel;” view the resources from that presentation here.
Thanks again to the event organizers for putting this conference together and allowing me to speak. I hope to see you there.
And if you’re a seasoned Microsoft BI user (particularly Excel) just looking to get into R, check out my book Advancing into Analytics: From Excel to Python and R. We’ll be giving away two copies of the book during the event, so make sure to register!
