I am pleased to announce that I will be leading a virtual session of the Northeast Ohio Society for Technical Communication (NEO STC) on “Developing Effective Data Analytics Programs.”
This will be Thursday, Feburary 13 at 7pm Eastern, virtually on GoToMeeting.
I have been developing instructional content on data for over five years now, spanning all media and topics.
Here I will finally synthesize my findings: how do we teach data competencies? What role do organizations have in upskilling their employees for data analysis? How do we measure the effectiveness of such programs?
The official program description is below. You can register here. The NEO STC is one of the most active chapters of a very impressive professional organization so I am very honored for this opportunity to share my findings in building data programs.
In this virtual meeting, George Mount will share tips acquired for designing effective data analytics training programs after over a year of developing technical content professionally. Attendees will learn how to hire and work with subject matter experts, develop effective technical content, and evaluate a program’s effectiveness.
We’ll be using GoToMeeting for this virtual meeting. All registrants will receive a link to the webinar, and a link to the recorded session after the event.
I hope to see you there!
