You may know about RANDBETWEEN( ), Excel’s built-in nifty random number generator, to mock up quantitative data.
But what if we want qualitative data: that is, a color or location?
Turns out we can use RANDBETWEEN( ) in combination with a little-known Excel function to achieve this result.
